他在Smooth Jazz領域有兩個非常知名的Project，一個是他和一些器樂演奏家一起錄製的The Jazzmasters系列，而另外一個是他個人的Hardcastle系列，兩個系列都是樂迷珍藏的經典。旋律輕柔流暢，器樂創新搭配，節奏舒緩時尚，魅力女聲Helen Rogers的輕吟淺唱，這些都是Paul Hardcastle的成功法寶，使他的Smooth Jazz如同和煦清爽的涼風與清涼透心的泉水流淌全身，令人舒適之極。
