Brightman都參加了演出，《貓》的首演即獲得了成功，後來還成為英國、美國的常青音樂劇之首。配樂《入殮師》里久石讓配的memory這段旋律分3個部分出現在劇中。百科引用(5張)當時男主角的老婆知道他的職業後離他而去，希望他放棄他的職業（入殮師），但他開始逐漸愛上這份工作，一次次為各種各樣的人進行納棺儀式，雖然都是死亡，但死者們的親友表現出來的感情卻非常不同，德高望重的父親死去，他體會到女兒們對父親的愛，慈祥的奶奶去世，他體會到子孫們對奶奶的愛，年幼的男童死去，他體會到長輩對晚輩的愛。。。。。。因為男主角童年特殊的經歷（父親和店裡的女招待私奔，自己又離開母親到外國求學），因此他沒有機會對自己至親、至愛的人做最後的道別，當時他母親已經過世（他不在身邊），父親還下落不明。男主角在綠色的海邊原野背景下，感受入殮師這份工作帶給他情感上的衝擊，也使他回憶起自己與家人的點點滴滴。尤其是他的父親，小時候給過他“石頭信”的父親……這份情感很深厚，我的描述只是個人的一點體會，這部電影很值得看，推薦你自己去體會下。
