年少成名

Samantha Jade16歲就登上世界流行音樂舞台，4歲開始當模特，9歲時憑藉一曲自己創作的“天賜恩寵”初露才華，之後一發不可收拾，16歲時她的一曲“秘密的愛”成為電影《鯊魚黑幫》里的插曲，由著名流行歌手JOJO編曲.20歲,小女生Samantha Jade,以一首舞蹈電影Step Up(舞出我人生)同名歌曲嶄露頭角,在獲得和Jive一紙契約後,Samantha向美國市場正式進軍。但很快，Samantha就體驗到了娛樂產業的殘酷，她於2008年被JIVE唱片公司解約。失意紐約後，Samantha重返澳洲試圖在家鄉追尋音樂道路，隨後她推出了幾支單曲，參演了幾部小成本電影，但都沒有引起轟動。2011年，Samantha再度被解約，回到父親的小工廠工作。


2012澳洲X-Factor奪冠

歷經挫折讓Samantha幾乎放棄了音樂事業，2012年，在父母的鼓勵下，懷著尋求最後一次機會的心情，她報名參加了人氣選秀節目澳洲版X-Factor的海選，並順利晉級到決賽階段。整個比賽過程跌宕起伏，由於回爐歌手身份加之年齡偏大等劣勢，Samantha在賽事當中總共三次徘徊於淘汰邊緣。然而最終，她還是憑藉驚為天人的演唱與無窮的舞台魅力逆轉奪冠，成為澳洲X-factor史上首位女性冠軍，同時也是黑馬色彩最濃的冠軍。X-Factor表演曲目
