樂隊介紹

來自Las Vegas的5人Post-Hardcore樂隊，是2000年由Ronnie Radke (vocals)和Max Green (bass)發起，之後一直默默無聞，樂隊轉機是在2005年為My Chemical Romance巡演做暖場時被Epitaph看中，並隨後發行了EP《Theres No Sympathy For The Dead》。Escape The Fate與同來自相同城市的The Killers和Panic! At The Disco相對“軟搖滾”不同，他們走的是類似於Underoath的Post-Hardcore路線，這也是Ronnie Radke擅長的風格，在經過一個夏季的蟄伏後，終於發行了他們處女專輯《Dying Is Your Latest Fashion》，進榜2周，爬到了billboard Top Independent Albums榜的19名。就在2008年Escape The Fate計畫巡迴演出的時候，發生了一系列事件使得巡迴演出不得不取消。主唱Radke被爆出有藥物依賴，並且在6月12日拉斯維加斯因為假釋期間暴力行為而被通緝，而6月16日在家鄉被捕。之後樂隊決定把Radke踢出樂隊，來自Blessthefall樂隊的Craig Mabbitt加入樂隊成為主唱。8月4日Radke被判刑4年。在監獄裡Radke在MySpace的部落格又引出問題，Radke首先對自己的行為向歌迷道歉，但是他認為被判刑是錯誤的，之後在樂隊其他成員的部落格上出現了不同的聲音，Max Green的部落格上說，“你活該被判刑，你就是個罪犯”，而在Craig Mabbitt的部落格上，Radke留言說Mabbitt偷了他的女朋友，就因為Mabbitt想成為“Ronnie Radke”。在宣布Craig Mabbitt正式成為主唱之後，Escape The Fate開始製作他們的新專輯。也許八卦新聞聽上去比新專輯更吸引人，看看Max Green自己是怎么說的新專輯：People are going to be blown away and definitely surprised when they hear Craigs vocals mixed with Escapes diverse sound.
