音色純淨，音域寬廣的她1988年在一次混音競賽中，以一首由Mireille Mathieu唱的Amour Défendu的獲勝．次年，發行了第一張單曲翻唱卡朋特的Top of the World（Op het dak van de wereld），從此走上演藝事業。

經歷
