姓 名： James Ingram音樂流派：Soul, Adult Contemporary, Quiet Storm星座： 水瓶座 出生地址： Akron, Ohio, USA說起James Ingram可能了解的人不多，其實他算得上靈魂樂歌手的前輩了。大家耳熟能詳的電影【美國鼠譚】的主題曲（Somewhere Out There）就是他與Linda Ronstadt 合唱的。 James Ingram 1956年出生於美國俄亥俄州阿克倫市，主要活躍於70-90年代。在70年代初曾在Revelation Funk表演過，後隨樂隊一同遷到洛杉磯。他在Quincy Jones 1980年的唱片The Dude 中的（Just Once）是他最初取得的成功，並獲得當年格萊美最佳流行男歌手和最佳RB藝人獎。James Ingram的嗓音渾厚有力，歌聲中充滿了自信，堪稱是80年代最受歡迎的成人抒情/節奏藍調的第一把交椅，從他曾經獲得葛萊美獎15次提名就知道他的歌唱實力備受肯定。更是在1981，1984年兩次成為了格萊美年度最佳RB男歌手。James Ingram的聲音是那么的富有磁性，當聽到電影城市鄉巴佬的片尾曲 Where Did My Heart Go後，我就被吸引住了，找到了他，也欣賞到了他的作品。又一首Somewhere Out There可謂經典，非常喜歡。
