簡介
來自美國加州聖荷西的著名實驗獨立團體Xiu-Xiu成立於2000年，除了傳統的吉他貝斯鼓等樂器，他們用到各種各樣的發聲器材，音樂風格有著朋克、、環境噪音、現代古典和民謠的跡象，在又吵又亂的神經質中卻又無章無法。他們的音樂深受現代古典音樂、即興音樂、英倫搖滾以及後朋克、科技舞曲還有木琴音樂的影響，是他們充滿痛苦的自傳，陰鬱而帶有表演性。在音樂上，可以說Xiu-Xiu自從2003年的那張《A Promise》由主唱Jamie Stewart獨攬樂團大權起，就正式奠定了其樂團一種非常獨特又穩定的音樂氣場。目前，Xiu-Xiu主唱Jamie Stewart一個人承擔了Xiu-Xiu的表演。
