Hatebreed

簡介

1993年 Hatebreed 在美國康乃狄克州成立，此前硬核在那裡一直是不被人看重的。最初他們目的很明確，就是通過重型金屬的吉他，歇斯底里的聲音和直接簡單的歌曲結構以及一些短到30秒的歌曲來使自己成為一支真正的硬核樂隊。樂隊最早由主唱Jamey Jasta，吉他手LouBoulderRichards（2002年4月離隊，Sean Martin接替他的位置）和Sean Martin，貝司手Chris Beattie以及鼓手Cliff Ross（後來Cliff Ross因為與樂隊不能再一心合作被炒掉，Matt Byrne取而代之）組成。最開始，他們在車庫，後院演出，偶爾也在正式的禮堂露面。演出前很少做宣傳，就那么開著輛沒注過冊，沒上過保險的車往返於各個演出地。他們在車上出售DEMO和T恤，掛影印的海報給自己做宣傳。不奮鬥就玩完是個折磨人的道理，還好Hatebreed艱苦的DIY努力終於有了回報，他們被優秀的獨立硬核廠牌Victory Records簽下。
