樂隊照片 來自美國的The Album Leaf，一向是最自然最淡然的不二代表，音樂從有至今是一路清淡下來的：情感淡，欲望淡，淡音色，淡處理。這是後搖界的一塊獨家招牌，先不說它到底有多好，有多少人吃這一套，至少是多少年來始終致力於把此范兒走深走遠的人貌似只有James LaValle一人。一看James LaValle就覺得他大概是個環境或者動物保護者之類的，頗為清心寡欲的冰島音樂青年，用西方人的話說，就是那種和上帝走的很近的傢伙。理論上講，無欲無求的人總能更輕易的接近完美。James LaValle懂得如何製造出瑕疵基本可以忽略不計的音樂，它就像香水一樣散發著一種遙遠、清冷而淡然的冰島氣息。如果你偏愛這種黃綠色調的印象主義風格，它可能會讓你聽到音樂中柳絮飄過的聲音，The Album Leaf的音樂中也有印象派作曲家如Claude Debussy的影子，其中又融入了很多現代‘氛圍音樂’的靜謐之美，電子部分和真實樂器難分彼此，一起營造了一個清澈的冥思世界。
