簡介
樂隊2006年進入搖滾名人堂。Debbie Harry 1979年1976年發表的首張同名專輯，與流行、舞曲等有著巧妙的聯繫，立刻就有了一個好的開始，之後所發行的“Parallel Lines”、“Eat To The Beat”、“Auto American” 等一連串專輯唱片，不僅有優秀的排行榜成績，銷Heart Of Glass售量也都獲得破百萬張的白金唱片榮耀。成功的過程一直到1981年Deborah Harry發表首張個人作品，她也開始加入電影的拍攝工作。後來因吉他手丈夫亦是團中與Deborah Harry共擔創作靈魂人物的Chris Stein生病，使得樂隊無法持續，Blondie的輝煌歲月終於告一段落。在樂壇消失了許多年後，直到1998年原始團員再度複合，1999年發行專輯No Exit，其中單曲Maria大受歡迎登上英國UK榜冠軍寶座。2006年Blondie入駐西方流行音樂最高殿堂搖滾名人堂，2011年5月31日Blondie發行了第9張錄音室專輯Panic of Girls。至1982年年底宣布解散為止，Blondie一共推出過6張錄音室作品，創造了6首冠軍曲，2張Top10的專輯，深刻地影響後來女子朋克/新浪潮舞曲藝人團體的爭相模仿。女主唱Deborah Harry的個人魅力沒有隨著她年齡的增長而衰退，明顯帶有迪斯科風格的作品為後代的DISCO-PUNK埋下了伏筆。Blondie 2011年Parallel Lines（平行線）專輯封面
