樂隊簡介
樂隊的原始成員包括了DJ Muggs (原名b. Lawrence Muggerud, 生於1968年1月28日,紐約皇后區,義大利移民後裔)，歌手B-Real (原名b. Louis Freese, 生於1970年6月2日, 洛杉磯人，古巴/墨西哥移民後裔)以及Sen Dog (原名b. Senen Reyes,生於1965年11月20日，古巴移民)。Sen Dog在14歲的時候從自己的故鄉古巴移民到洛杉磯。他和他的弟弟Mellow Man Ace組成了樂隊的雛形，當時名字叫DVX，並且宣稱自己的風格是獨創一家的西班牙俚語風格，樂隊還包括了前7A3樂隊成員DJ Muggs和 B-Real。當Mellow Man Ace離開樂隊開始單飛，其餘成員決定把樂隊名改為當地街區的名字。但樂隊取得巨大成功並不是因為這個，而是得益於他們流暢的融合了RB的曲風，而其含糊不清的演唱和偶爾涉及槍枝的內容為他們庸懶的節奏增色不少。
