Oh life
Is just a game
No one ever tells you how to play
See different people
Go different ways
Some of them will leave you but
Some of them will stay
Well our hearts keep drumming
Years keep coming
Quicker than they've ever been
You're sick of the same thing
It's quicker than changing
Too late to begin
Well everybody's running
But you don't know why
Time is running thin
Everybody's looking for somebody to love
But we're scared to let them in
And I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
Am I on my own?
Am I on my own?
Oh love
See it comes and goes
No one never tells you how to learn to let go
Different people, they walk different roads
Some of them will hurt you but
Some of them won't
Well the bridge is burning
And the wheel keeps turning
Quicker than it did before
Your heart screams "yes"
Head says "no"
And you're never really sure
You see everybody's running
You don't know why
Time is running short
Everybody's looking for a place to hide
So there's no one left at all
And I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
Yeah I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
Am I here alone?
Oh oh oh
Am I here alone?
Oh oh, oh oh
Yeah
Yeah I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
And I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
I say oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
Oh oh oh oh oh
Are there any survivors?
Am I here alone?
That was absolutely beautiful, thank you so much for singing
its a little bit too much me asking you guys sing at first fling song
I-I understand
should've done some vocal warm-ups with you guys
I apologise
Thank you
I haven't played a lot of gigs last year or two for obvious reasons
I played a little tour in the UK about six months ago
I was so nervous-I haven't played for a year
I was so nervous that I set up a warm-up show before the tour began
and as it was approaching I get really fking nervous for the warm-up show
so I set a little warp-up show for the warm-up show
pathetic
I made several grievous errors for this warm-up
first of all: it was in my friend's pub so there were free drinks
from 2pm onwards
that's the noice I made, which was odd
And I got steaming drunk, I was very drunk when I onto stage
the second big mistake I made was that I didn't write a setlist
I just kinda figured the art would flow and I forgot all my fking songs
all 14 albums of them, can't remember a thing
and third, possibly the worst mistake I made
I was sort of panicked anxiety about the gig
I forgot to invite anybody
so there were about 14 very confused-looking people in this pub
until I played let her go and I was like
ahh-is that guy
but I started with that song Survivors
but it didn't came over me-
the alcohols, the nerves, the concoctions of wiredness
and halfway to this song I was like "everyone singing along"
and no-one fking did, obviously
cause they weren't there for me and they hated me
so this is a very long way of saying thank you for everyone back in San Fran
I really appreciate it
